Introduction

Nowadays, many G&L Christians are not clear whether there is indeed a conflict between the Christian faith and one's own sexual orientation and, consequently, stagnate one's spiritual growth. Some felt compelled to forsake the faith, whereas some led a life of wantoness due to abandoning oneself. In extreme cases, some chose the path of no return in suicide; Some felt obliged by social pressures to choose marriage without love, leading to possible greater sorrow for the spouse and children involved.

Is homosexual love a sin? How about homosexual behaviours? Do you feel unworthy to serve God? Unworthy to pray to God? Do you feel ashamed by your identity so much so that you feel embarassed to share your faith with others? Will you feel dubious about evangelizing from homosexuals? Do you feel heterosexual Christians are holier than homosexual Christians? Do you feel that a "gay church" is inferior? Is BMCF a sect? Do you believe homosexual love is a sin, but still unflinchingly revel in this "sin"?

The "Recovery group" (of a four month duration) will follow topics adapted from the book "Steps to Recovery from Bible Abuse" by Rev. Rembert Truluck. Through prayers, bible study, devotions, sharing, we wish those wounded hearts to be healed by God. Those who are seperated from God will be reconciled, so that our spiritual lives can develop with vigor and strength in God.
